Meet Alan Scholes
Of his ministry, Scholes says, “I am a minister first and a teacher second. I do not mean only that I was in full-time ministry for 11 years before I became a teacher at a seminary. I mean that even today, teaching is simply one aspect of my broader ministry. I continue to write evangelistic materials for various ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ, and I share my faith…Teaching is simply a way for me to multiply my efforts through those I teach and train, so that together we influence many times more than I could ever do alone.”
He has written three books and several articles. His book What Christianity Is All About takes an indepth look at the basic theology of the evangelical faith as well as who God is, who we are, and how we can best relate to him. The Artful Dodger: A Skeptic Confronts Christianity tackles many of the questions that have challenged the great thinkers of past centuries. In Doorways to a Deeper Faith, Scholes explores six ways, or "doors," that will lead to a greater faith and deeper understanding of God.
