Meet Terri Blackstock
Terri Blackstock made a decision more than a decade ago that permanently changed the direction of her writing career. She had grown to become an award-winning secular novelist of thirty-two published titles with more than 3.5 million books in print. Yet, she was miserable and her career was sorely unfulfilling.
One night, Terri decided she would never again write something that was displeasing to God, although she thought she might never publish another novel. She began planning for alternate ways to earn a living while writing her first Christian novel, styling it after books she enjoyed reading—suspense by authors such as John Grisham and Mary Higgins Clark. Christian publishers expressed a great deal of interest—Terri would not have to find a way to supplement her income.
Since then, Terri has written more than thirty novels, many of which were number-one best-sellers. She has sold over 2 million copies and received many awards, including the Retailers Choice Award for best Christian novel. Some of the books by Terri include True Light, Night Light, Last Light, her Cape Refuge series, Newpointe 911 series, and Suncoast Chronicles series.
Terri and her husband, Ken live in Mississippi.
