![]() Wanda E. Brunstetter knew she always wanted to become a writer. From her first poem about a moth, she had found her life’s passion. She took her first course on writing in 1980—the "Writing for Children and Teenagers" study course from The Institute of Children's Literature. Since that time, she's had several hundred stories, articles, poems, word puzzles, devotions, monologues, and puppet plays published with a variety of publishers. Wanda’s books include The Brides of Webster County series, the Sisters of Holmes County series, and various Children’s books, including the Daughters of Lancaster County series. Wanda and her husband, Rick, have been married for 40 years. They have two grown children -- Richard Jr., and Lorine.
