In addition to her speaking and writing, Julie has been teaching Bible studies for 20 years. Her former positions include RN supervisor, coronary intensive care nurse, Spanish teacher, and secretary at the Pentagon. She holds degrees from East Carolina University in education and Lamar University in nursing.
Julie is the mother of two grown children and has been married for 30 years to her college sweetheart. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her family.
