Meet Steve and Valerie Bell

Steve and Valerie Bell have been married and in ministry together for over 30 years. For more than 20 years was a pastor, radio broadcaster, and ministry leader, is currently an executive vice-president of the Willow Creek Association. Valerie travels widely as a conference speaker, making frequent guest appearances on radio and television. She is the author of 7 previous books. Together the Bells recently co-authored 2 books, Made to be Loved: Enjoying Spiritual Intimacy with God and Your Spouse, and Faith-Shaped Kids: Helping Your Child Grow Spiritually.

In their newest book, Real Survivors, Steve and Valerie share true stories of people who have endured incredible difficulties and emerged stronger and better Christians. They offer seven common characterisitics of the spiritual survivors featured in this book.

Steve and Valerie live in Wheaton, Illinois; they have two grown sons.
