Meet Greg Laurie

Greg Laurie is more than an author, he is the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship which started as a small group of 30 people when Greg was 19. Today the church numbers close to 15,000 and is one of the largest churches in America. Greg also works with Harvest Ministries. He is the featured speaker of their nationally syndicated radio show A New Beginning and the host of a youth-oriented television program, Day 7@Harvest. In addition to this work, he serves on the board of directors of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, among others.

Greg’s books include The God of the Second Chance, the New Believer’s Guide, Discipleship, Every Day with Jesus, God’s Design for Christian Dating, A Passion for God, and The Upside Down Church. His soon to be released book, Breakfast with Jesus, is a devotional book that encourages people to see Jesus through the eyes of his disciples—a friend, mentor, and teacher who is always there.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys riding his motorcycle (a Harley Davidson), playing tennis, and occasionally surfing. He’s also a man who loves his gadgets! Greg and his wife, Cathe, have two children; they live in Southern California.
