Alda Ellis is a successful entrepreneur, speaker, artist, and author. She is the founder and president of Alda’s Forever, a company she owns with her husband, William.
After resigning from her job as a dental hygienist to become a stay at home mom, Alda developed a technique that adheres a design to a bar of soap until it is approximately the same thickness as a credit card, which she later patented. Her product line includes soaps, candles, silver home décor, gourmet food, books, stationery, music, and a personal care collection. Alda is an avid collector of Victorian ephemera (paper) and much of this romantic art from the turn of the century is featured in her products.
Alda has also written several books. In her newest release,
Beyond Breast Cancer, Alda brings awareness to the disease. Uplifting stories from survivors and caregivers demonstrate how, through Christ, women who face breast cancer can find courage to endure and strength to overcome. Through her company, she sells Friendship for the Cure balls with instructions for self-exams tucked inside, and Pearl of Promise pendants with a tiny pearl dangling from the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon. Through the sale of these items, Alda has contributed over $90,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Arkansas affiliate. Her other books include
A Gentle Beauty Within,
A Heart Full of Happiness,
Listen to the Quiet,
An Angel in My Garden, and
Always Friends.
Alda has been featured in several publications including
Southern Lady,
Victoria,
Inspriational Giftware, as well as television and radio shows such as
The 700 Club,
Arkansas Today,
Fox Home Show,
Among Friends, and
HomeLife.
