Meet Ann Platz and Susan Wales

Ann Platz is a successful interior designer, a popular speaker for Christian groups and on behalf of the interior design industry, an author, and the founder of Ann Platz & Co. an interior design firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Images of her mountain cabin grace the pages of Kay Arthur’s book, A Sanctuary for Your Soul and are just a sampling of her talent. In 1991, Ann self-published the popular Atlanta Source Guide as a way to provide information on contacts, resources, and services for designers in the Atlanta area.

Susan Chrane Wales is a popular speaker, author, and successful businesswoman. She began a 12 year career as a realtor in Atlanta and later founded her own business, The Chrane Group, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in personnel and promotion.

A gourmet cook, Susan co-authored and published ’Tis the Season to be Cooking, a Christmas cookbook that was a best-seller, and she co-authored Reading, Writing, and Recipes, a cookbook for kids. She is well-known for generating creative ideas for everything from menus to centerpieces and decorations for parties, fundraisers, and special events.

In their books, Social Graces and The Pleasure of Your Company, Susan and Ann present ideas, encouragement, and direction for those seeking to bring style to their entertaining and who want t foster the gift of hospitality for their families, friends, and neighbors.
