Robert Benson

Robert Benson attended Trevecca Nazarene College, Belmont University, the University of Tennesee, and Pasadena College. After 25 years in the religious publishing business as a copywriter, an editor, and an executive, Benson now writes full time. He is also a frequent retreat leader and conference speaker. An alumni of the Academy for Spiritual Formation, he is also a member of the Friends of Silence and of the Poor, an ecumenical order of lay people.

Recent books by Benson are Between the Dreaming and the Coming True, Living Prayer, Venite: A Book of Daily Prayer, The Game: One Man, Nine Innings and a Love Affair with Baseball, and The Night of the Child.
