Meet Kimberly Winston

Kimberly Winston received her B.A. from the University of Texas in Austin. After touring as an actress with the National Shakespeare Company, Winston received her M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and became a newspaper religion reporter. She later became a freelance journalist.

Her work has appeared in the Dallas Morning News, New York Newsday, Publishers Weekly, The Oakland Tribune, and Beliefnet.com. Winston is the recipient of several awards, including the Religion Newswriters Association’s 1996 Louis Cassels Memorial Award for excellence in religion reporting.
Faith After Faith Healing, Winston’s first book, came through a story she wrote for the Dallas Mornign News, in which she followed the stories of people from various backgrounds who desperately sought faith healing, without success.
