Meet Carol D. Showalter

Originator and guiding light of the Christ-centered group diet program, Diet, Discipline, and Discipleship, Carol Showalter has been a principal spokeswoman for the program for over 30 years. Her best-selling account of the founding of the 3D program provided a better understanding of the program’s broad scope and spiritual depth. She has also rewritten 3D to bring it into the 21st century.

Carol has been interviewed by major publications such as The Chicago Tribune, the New Yorker and Christianity Today. She has also appeared on CNN, the 700 Club and other TV programs, as well as spoken at conferences nationwide.

Carol and her husband, Bill live in Massachusetts; they have four children and five grandchildren.
