Meet Wayne Holmes

Wayne Holmes writes and speaks from the heart about love, family, and spirituality. A graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a B.A. in religion, his writings have appeared in such publications as Preacher’s Magazine, Come Ye Apart, and Church of God Evangel. He is also co-author of the book Lost and Found, a children’s church teaching unit, and a contributor to Ripples of Joy, compiled by Cheryl Kirking.

It is Wayne’s experience as a father of four, and his love of books, that has enabled him to observe how earthly fathers can often demonstrate a characteristic of the nature of God. These connections are at the center of The Heart of a Father. Wayne is active in Ohio’s writing community. As a member of the Greater Cincinnati Christian Writers’ Fellowship he has won several awards including the 1997 Writer of the Year. In January 2001 he became the director of this fellowship, serving his fellow writers.

Wayne and his wife, Linda, and family make their home in Fairfield, Ohio.
