Meet Elizabeth Hoekstra

Elizabeth Hoekstra holds an R.N. degree from New Hampshire Technical Institute with a work history in psychology, counseling, and maternal health. Her passion and training with women's physical, emotional, and spiritual health led her to spearhead Direct Path Ministries, a writing and speaking Ministry focused on encouraging and equipping women to "Walk in the Word."

Her books Be Still and A Heart After God are designed as interactive Studies, Be Still is focused on finding the quiet and security in God's presence while A Heart After God is about learning to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Hoekstra's books bring clarity and challenge readers on important topics that have the power to change lives. They are especially ideal for busy women seeking a retreat from the hassle and hurry of modern life.

Elizabeth and her family are members of Trinity Evangelical Church in southern New Hampshire and are actively involved in various leadership positions with their church and community. Along with her family, Elizabeth enjoys the outdoor life of skiing, hiking, boating, and horse-back riding.
