Meet Angela Elwell Hunt
Angela Elwell Hunt sang professionally and taught school before beginning her writing career in 1983. A graduate of Liberty University, she has authored over fifty books and over 1,000 magazine articles for periodicals such as Moody Magazine, Today's Christian Woman, Christianity Today, Parenting Today, Women's Circle, and many other publications.
Angela has written about a variety of subjects for all ages. Her children's books include: The Sleeping Rose, The Tale of Three Trees, Nicki Holland Mystery Series, Cassie Perkins Series, and Pretzels by the Dozen!. She has written many historical fiction novels/ Legacies of the Ancient River series is centered around the story of Joseph. The Keepers of the Ring, and The Heirs of Cahira O'Connor, both of which share the concept of exploring different time periods with a common item linking each book. In Keepers, the item is a physical ring. In the Heirs of Cahira O'Connor, the four women are linked by red hair with a white streak. The Shadow Women tells the story of three women who were close to Moses. Contemporary fiction by Angela includes, The Note, and The Pearl--both part of the Women of Faith fiction line, The Justice, and the Heavenly Daze series--written with Lori Copeland.
When she's not writing, Angela finds time to work with her husband in an active ministry for middle-school students, take part in the activities of her two children, sing professionally on the Clearwater Christian channel, and make quilts. The Hunts spent ten years working with Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, and since 1987 have led a middle-school ministry in Florida.
