Meet Henry T. Blackaby

Henry Blackaby has devoted his entire life to ministry. He has held positions as a music and education directors, and pastor in Churches in California and Canada. He also served as the president of Canadian Baptist Theological College and the Canadian Southern Baptist Conference. In 1970, Dr. Blackaby began is life in missions when he answered the call to pastor a small church in Saskatoon, Canada. The church not only grew itself, but also helped found thirty-eight new church communities. He is also the founder and president emeritus of Blackaby Ministries International, which was established to respond to increasing demand for global ministry.

Dr. Blackaby is also the author of many spiritually influential books, including Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God, which has sold more than seven million copies in 45 languages, plus millions of related products, including a workbook, study Bible, teen edition, devotional journal, videos, and an 11-song recording. God has used Henry Blackaby and the teachings of Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God to change the way millions of people across all denominational lines live, enlarge the way they serve, and enliven the way they think. He is also an enormously popular speaker. Other works by Blackaby include, Spiritual Leadership, which instructs those who hold leadership positions - not only in religious capacities but also including CEOs and teachers - leadership from a biblical perspective Experiencing God Together, Experiencing God Day by Day, On Mission with God, The Ways of God, and The Man God Uses.

Henry and his wife Marilynn, currently reside in Rex, Georgia, and although he is retired, he continues to speak and write to audiences of large proportions.
