Meet Les & Leslie Parrott
Les and Leslie Parrott are a husband-and-wife team who have dedicated their lives to helping those around them build healthy relationships, especially marriages. Centered out of the Seattle Pacific University campus, the two founded the Center for Relationship Development, which aims to teach the basics of successful friendships.
Les, a clinical psychologist, and Leslie, a marriage and family therapist, speak in more than 40 cities each year with venues ranging from churches to Fortune 500 companies. They were named the statewide Marriage Ambassadors of Oklahoma and were called on by authorities to provide counseling for those affected by 9/11 and even soldiers returning from Iraq, transitioning into family life.
They are the hosts of a vastly popular radio program, Love Talk and are weekly guests on Fox TVís morning show in Seattle, Washington.
Together, their books have sold more than one million copies in over two dozen languages. Some of their best-selling titles include Gold Medallion winner Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts, The Control Freak, I Love You More, Becoming Soul Mates, Relationships, Questions Couples Ask, Shoulda Woulda Coulda, and High-Maintenance Relationships.
The counseling duo has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, The View with Barbara Walters, NBC Nightly News, and Oprah. They have also been featured in magazines (Family Circle, Redbook, Menís Health, Focus on the Family, and Brides) and newspapers (USA Today and The New York Times).
