    Tell us a little about yourself.  After over 20 years as a corporate executive I hung up my suits to fulfill my life-long dream of writing. Since then, my work has been featured in numerous print and online publications. I pen a monthly entertainment Q&A on www.christianeducation.ca and am also a ghostwriter, helping celebrities tell their stories. I am the author of the "How Do You Know He’s Real?" inspirational book series. The second book in the series, "He's Real: God's Extreme Love for a Radical Generation" will be geared towards young people and will be released in November 2006. In October, I will also be releasing a book with Integrity Publishers called "My Favorite Christmas" which will feature favorite Christmas memories of dozens of famous athletes, entertainers and communicators. As a speaker, I share my insights on living a fulfilled life in today’s hectic and fragmented world. A life-long resident of Minnesota (ask me how I feel about that in January), I now live in a lakeside log home in the woods of Buffalo with my husband and our two teenage children.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  A couple of years ago, my 15 year old daughter was talking with her friend Justin encouraging him to join her at youth group. He looked her square in the face and said, "But how do you know He's Real?" That's the universal question isn't it? How do we know He's Real? I set out on a quest to show Justin and countless other seekers that Jesus Christ is real and not just a legend. That's how this journey began ...

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  So many people are on the fence with one foot firmly planted in the world and the other beneath the cross. Scripture clearly tells us that there is only one way to God, and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ. Yet sadly, many people are turned off from organized religion and may not listen to the message of the church. But because our culture worships celebrity, they may take notice of famous athletes and entertainers. It's all about planting seeds with our loved ones who don't yet know Christ. Believers will also be encouraged by these amazing stories of miracles and answered prayers. Sometimes we just need a little reminder that God is real.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  The celebrities who shared their very personal stories have been incredible sources of inspiration. Writing this book has been a tremendous blessing to me.
