The information and activities related to celebrating Advent is told and shown by the sister puppet to the brother puppet in a rather condescending manner. While previewing this DVD as a prospective addition to the church library, I imagined my 7-year-old grandchildren were sitting next to me, and realized that to their eyes it would not be compelling viewing. The content is biblical and accurate, reflecting current liturgical practice, but it is not presented in an entertaining format. From a cinematic perspective, it looks like a low-budget production. Children who are used to viewing high-quality animated videos are likely to pass this one by.
