    Tell us a little about yourself.  Hi! I am the author of several series of unit studies, as well as other educational titles. A Christian author, wife, and homeschooling mom of three, I've been writing for more than sixteen years, as well as speaking at conferences and churches across the country.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I wrote the unit study on Horses for those children who are fascinated with horses and can't get enough of these beautiful animals. With a horse-loving daughter that is now a veterinarian, I have had plenty of motivation to write on this fun topic, and have had wonderful feedback from users around the world.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  The new Horses Unit Study is ready-to-use on arrival - no other resources or preparation required. It offers four complete weeks of daily lessons written on two levels - Lower Level (elementary grades) and Upper Level (Jr/Sr High grades).     How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  While writing Horses, I was blessed to meet so many children who love horses and provided wonderful inspiration for the study. There's nothing like the smile of an excited learner to keep a writer motivated!

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My main inspiration comes from the LORD, and I am so thankful. The children and parents that I have met across the country, along with those that call and email, also provide tremendous inspiration to write so that kids WANT to learn and look forward to the adventure.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I write in an effort to make learning a fascinating and thought-provoking adventure, which is the way that learning SHOULD be - lifelong learners are successful, inquisitive and engaging, contributing so much to our world. Open up the WORLD to your child. Encourage thinking skills as well as imagination, build a strong tree of knowledge, and help develop lifelong learners, thinkers, wonderers.
