Product Description

This course stresses the importance of continued practice to learn to write well. The quotes the children will write and the words they will use demand good concentration and their best writing skills. About half way through the year, students begin learning cursive writing.

Total time for handwriting class should not be more than 10-15 minutes at one sitting. Other tips for teaching are also included.

Scripture quotations are taken from the NIV. This program utilizes a traditional ball and stick handwriting approach.

Includes 1 Student Book and 1 Teacher's Guide.

Horizons Penmanship Grade 2 Set 4 5 2 2

I like it but . . . I like the process that they teach the child to learn penmanship but in the end, I did not use it because I could find free penmanship pages that I liked better online. Sorry. If you are looking for a systematic approach where you don't desire to search for pages or create your own pages, then you should like this curriculum. September 6, 2011

This writing book is full of practice pages where they first trace out the words or scripture, and then it has blank lines for them to practice what they have just learned. Not only are they learning handwriting, but they are also learning scripture as well. October 3, 2008
