Very disappointed!
I have used Horizons Math for my boys up to this point. But next year we will definitely change. If you are like me and have several children working on several different grade levels of math you don't have the time to go back and research how to do certain math problems when your child needs help. Horizons beginning in 4th grade math have left out how to reach a certain conclusion to the problem out. So when you need to know how they arrived at the answer. You are given the answer only or answers will vary. I'm very disappointed so next year we will make a change.

My son loves this program. It offers lots of variety: solving problems to decode a riddle, finding sums to go through a maze, etc. As new concepts are covered, the program is careful not to bore the student with too much repetition...just the right amount..A great curriculum!

My 7 yr old (3rd grade) and 9 yr old (5th grade) are doing this together this year. They like the fact the pages are more colorful with pictures. And I like how the pages have multiple types of problems on each page which definately helps keep their attention.

My youngest two children are currently using this curriculum. The older three also used Horizons Math and were very well-prepared for Saxon Algebra 1/2 when they reached seventh grade. The material is nearly self-explanatory to the children, and easy-to-use for me.
