My son loves this program. It offers lots of variety: solving problems to decode a riddle, finding sums to go through a maze, etc. As new concepts are covered, the program is careful not to bore the student with too much repetition...just the right amount..A great curriculum!

My 7 yr old (3rd grade) and 9 yr old (5th grade) are doing this together this year. They like the fact the pages are more colorful with pictures. And I like how the pages have multiple types of problems on each page which definately helps keep their attention.

My youngest two children are currently using this curriculum. The older three also used Horizons Math and were very well-prepared for Saxon Algebra 1/2 when they reached seventh grade. The material is nearly self-explanatory to the children, and easy-to-use for me.
