Horizons Health Kindergarten Teacher's Guide
Very well laid out plans for appropriate Kindergarten health subjects. I am using as a homeschool parent, and realized that the plans are set out to be used in a group setting. Easy to adjust to use with one child, but wish that it was more user friendly for the homeschooler.

I have been using this curriculum for a couple months with my son. It is easy to use and the units are laid out for you. If you want to add more to the lessons there is a list of book recommendations. They encourage getting two puppets or characters to use to "visit" during some lessons. This is my sons favorite part. I also like using the puppets when they have you act out different situations. It draws my son in and it makes it more fun for us!

I like this book. I'm using this curriculum and Singapore Science to cover what is required. I like the lesson ideas. It's easy and there's plenty of ideas to choose from. I did buy the student workbook, but so far we've just looked at it so that I'll be able to use the illustrations and pictures with my other two children when they are in kindergarten.
