Horizons Health Grade 4 Workbook
This program does a good job of talking about feelings and introducing difficult topics like drug and alcohol use. It is a good springboard for parents to have very useful and needed conversations with their children. My son has enjoyed it for the most part, and it really gets him thinking and communicating. However, on the down side, at times some topics are a bit elementary. Several times my son would read something and say "oh, brother". Also, the organization between the student book and worksheet book can also be confusing at times. You really have to look at each page and the content to figure out what worksheet goes with it. Some topics have worksheets and some don't, so it does take some unnecessary prep time that could be prevented if it were organized better.Overall, I am happy with the program and plan to buy the next grade level despite these few issues.
