Carol from Oklahoma5 Stars Out Of 5A HOPE UNDAUNTEDFebruary 12, 2015Carol from OklahomaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This was the very first Julie Lessman book I read as I randomly just happened to be looking for a good Christian romance in our local library. After I began reading this book, I was immediately drawn to it because of the passionate way Julie Lessman writes about romance and God. This quickly became my very favorite book! I soon discovered the Daughter of Boston Series and read it as well. When I came to this book again in the order they were written, I read it again. As each of Julie's books became available about the O'Connor family, I read each of them again in the order written. I recommended to our local library that all of these books be purchased, and also recommended to our local bookstore to purchase as well as a local church library. This is still probably my favorite of all Julie's books, and it's probably because it was the first one I read. I really like Katie, but I especially like Luke! I highly recommend this great book but encourage you to start with The Daughters of Boston in order followed by the Winds of Change series. Keep up the great writing for us, Julie Lessman! God has blessed you with a gift, my friend.
CurledUpWithaBookThe MaritimesAge: 55-65Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5Christian reading?February 15, 2014CurledUpWithaBookThe MaritimesAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1Although this was for the most part a good story I felt that this crossed over the line as a Christian novel. I was disappointed in the lack of Christian morals and the way the characters jumped so quickly from one person's arms to another. I must add though that the author does bring the gospel in in a wonderful way but still I would not in good conscience be able to recommend this book to others.
Bethany5 Stars Out Of 5Loved This Book!July 6, 2013BethanyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have read several books by this author, and she doesn't disappoint. Hope Undaunted was a cute and fun story, and you love the characters the more you read it. I found myself saying I will just read one chapter tonight and it was 3AM before I stopped!! It pulls you in and you can't stop reading. I highly recommend this book and any of Julie Lessman's other books also.
