Product Description

In Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, psychiatrist Jeffrey Satinover examines recent research reported in medical journals and the popular press. He finds many of these studies flawed and cites evidence that homosexuality is indeed changeable. He explains how psychology, biology, choice and habit all interweave to produce deeply imbedded patterns of sexual behavior.

Very excellent explanation of this HOT topic. Dr. Satinover does not give opinions or feelings. This book is just the facts. Sometimes difficult to read and comprehend for a nonMD but well worth the effort. It is all the information you'll need to COGNITIVELY and INFORMATIVELY discuss and explain what is unsustainable and wrong with homosexuality on a factual basis.

Dr. Satinover brings the "light and air" to the history and corruption of everyone involved with the gay activists success in the memes distribution of deception to both secular and religious society. From the perspective of his profession, Dr. Stainover's well balanced presentation is critical in understanding not only the gay individual, but the hidden agendas' of activist groups, politicians, media, scientist, clergy and worst of all, our educators. He lays out the path of miss information on both sides of the issue and how those "accepted facts" represent the cultural conflict we have today. Read to find the truths of the biological, genetic and psychological rolls in homosexuality. For the secularist, this book is essential in dispelling myths and cutting through the politics and propaganda. For the Church, this book is a great aid in developing the understanding needed to see the gay individual as Christ sees them. To love them like Christ loves them. And finely for gays and their loved ones, this book cuts through the fog of conflict, shedding light and truth on how all participants have "used" them to push their agendas' bring harm to both them and our nation.

This book is a great resource for anyone who wants some reliable information on an issue befuddled with biased and blatant misinformation. It is compassionate, helpful and non-vindictive, as it strips away the lies surrounding the medical, psychiatric and political aspects of this complex, but treatable, condition.

I regard this as a seminal work in unveiling the truth about the LACK of scientific data for the popular idea that homosexuality is somehow innate, genetic or unchangeable. There are newer works available also that are also quite good, but this is a terrific summary by a well respected psychiatrist who has been on the inside of the American Psychiatric Association for a long time.
