Absolutely love it! Never read the book, but the audio story is great. Sweet, down-home fun. Kind of reminds you of living in Mayberry. Actors have done a great job. This is one set I will be listening to over and over. Focus on the Family Radio Theatre dramas are great for while I'm working around the house. I also love The Chronicles of Narnia and The Life of Jesus. Keep them coming!

Awesome. Hearing the story acted out rather than read made it more interesting and meaningful. I love Jan Karon's writing style.

As I expected, this story from Focus the Family Radio Theatre and Jan Karon's Mitford series was great! Dean Jones has the perfect voice to play Father Tim. My husband even enjoyed listening, and our 12 hour car trip was a lot less of a bore. I only wish there were a sequel!

I have been listening to this audio book on my commute to and from work. It is so entertaining and makes the commute a joy. God has truly blessed Jan Karon with her ability to tell a story.

I read the book first was a little disappointed that some of the characters and details were left out. But on the brighter side it explained details that were not in the book

What a fantastic series!! We listened to this all the way home from our Christmas celebration, a 6.5 hr. drive! All 6 of our children ages 3-17 enjoyed this, and talk about a quiet ride home :) Both my husband and I were wrapped up into the story also, so at 45 it held our attention too! Very highly recommended. We're hoping there is a part 2 to continue these adventures, so we're not left hanging at the ending! That was our only issue, it wasn't a clear ending as to whether it goes on or that's it!
