WIth a title like Holy Boldness, Practices of an Evangelistic Lifestyle, one would think it had something to do with evangelism. Guess what? It has very little if anything to really do with evangelism.I was greatly deceived when I read this book thinking it was to help evangelize. It reads like a textbook for the brainwashing of young minds by liberals in Washington D.C. Hear is just ONE example.Pages 143-144 reads... "Interfaith dialogue as well as mutually satisfying encounters of trust and embrace are needed if humanity is to survive. According to Art and Jocele Meyer- farmers, teachers, and former Mennonite Central Committee volunteers in Grenada- people of faith must cooperate if we are to deal with ten issues crucial to our survival. The global agenda requires cooperation in areas such as environmental degradation; the arms race; threat of nuclear proliferation; blind adherence to political-economic systems incompatible with biblical justice; the scandal of hunger in a world that has the capacity to feed everyone adequately; the need for everyone to have meaningful employment; the growing gap between the rich and the poor; food and agricultural policies that contribute to the collapse of rural societies; population growth; and the legacy of neocolonial policies manifest in the global debt issue."How is this Christian? How is it Evangelism? It is difficult to find much that actually discusses Jesus Christ in the true light of WHO He is.Buyer beware.
