This Bible has many aspects that I really like, one of those aspects is the text size. I find the text size to be clear and easy to read, which is always nice. The single column format of this edition makes writing notes in the margin easier. The cover of this Bible is genuine leather, and feels nice to the touch. I really like the flexibility of this Bible, and that it lays flat while reading. The only aspect of this Bible which could be improved upon would be the thickness of the paper. Even though this is quality paper its a little too thin for taking notes, unless you use a pencil. The Minister's sections are very interesting, and ministers' would find this edition very useful. Finally, a suitably published format for the bible notator. It seems Holman would realize they are close to a coup wiht this format and publish one sans the Minister helps. It would also be great to see a two column version with a wide middle column for even better placement of notes. The Minister helps could be replaced with additional note pages. The HCSb is a very good translation that I now prefer over NASB or NIV.

This is what I have been waiting for..feels great in your hand, leather is good, the paper is a little light, penicl works well in it for marking. It lays flat right out of the box. It's not my study bible but it will be the one that I use daily.Enough room for small notes,( never really enough)Well that's it for me, no bible learning here just someone that loves the Word and this translation. It help me move a closer to our Lord.

I purchased two of these Bibles. One was for me and the other was for a gift for my pastor. I love the Bible. The translation is outstanding. It is easy to find what I am looking for -- the pages turn easily and they are not stiff and hard to page through like many other Bibles that I have owned. This Bible is rapidly becoming my favorite. The print is easy to read, it is a nice size to carry around, and the cover is nice. I look forward to really getting into the ministerial resources in the back. After looking through the materials about weddings I can only wish that I was scheduled to perform a wedding so that I could use the materials in the back. I am impressed.

In my years of ministry, I have had the privilege of using many wonderful translations of God's Holy Word, but none has been as well put together and usable as this Bible. I read from it, preach from it, counsel from it and even use its pastoral resources found in the back. It is the best pastor's/minister's Bible that I have ever used! Also the CSB translation is, in my opinion, the BEST and most accurate translation to date! Way to go Holman and God bless you in your work!

I have been looking for a Bible in this format for a long time. I wish more Bible publishers would take the lead and put their translations in a single-column format that contains only the text. I have found this edition not only excellent to teach out of, but I also think it wonderful to read from. Single-columns in paragraphs just read better and help put things in better context. (I think so anyways.)
