In a time much of the evangelical side of the Body of Christ is focused on personal or corporate activity J.C.Ryle draws followers of Christ back to true concept of Holiness which the Bible states without which one can never see the face of God

A friend gave me this book to review. I have a large Christian library in my home and if I had to give up all but a few books, this would definitely be one that I kept. Written in the 19th century, it carefully answers some deep-seated Biblical questions I have struggled with.
