Christmas Shoes is among my favorite as well as the other two. This was a excellent buy and I enjoy watching them even when it's not Christmas because of the meaning that we all need to be reminded of throughout the year not just at Christmas.
For many of us, the Christmas season is bitter-sweet. And this our holiday trilogy. A little reminder that to look beyond the doom and gloom for the love, hope and laughter. All the elements that tend to get lost this time of year. Christmas Shoes should get top billing here. In this feature a simple pair of shoes changes countless lives. Changes that have a butterfly effect in other two movies. Okay, I am a poor reviewer -- just trust that you will not be disappointed. I shed many tears, both happy and sad. Sometimes at the same time.
I recently ordered this one despite negative reviews about language and alcohol, and I'm glad I did. This is a family movie that has a main premise about fathers and sons. Yes one of the fathers drinks but is faced with its effects on his son. This movie also focuses on giving and how you can make a difference to those around you.
The story line was terrific. I was disappointed because it was rated as a family movie. Christmas Shoes and Christmas Blessing had curse words in them. I am teaching my children that when they are frustrated or angry that certain words are not used to express their displeasure. Those words could have been left out and the moral of the movie would have been portrayed just as well. I would not recommend these at all.
