I recently ordered this one despite negative reviews about language and alcohol, and I'm glad I did. This is a family movie that has a main premise about fathers and sons. Yes one of the fathers drinks but is faced with its effects on his son. This movie also focuses on giving and how you can make a difference to those around you.
The story line was terrific. I was disappointed because it was rated as a family movie. Christmas Shoes and Christmas Blessing had curse words in them. I am teaching my children that when they are frustrated or angry that certain words are not used to express their displeasure. Those words could have been left out and the moral of the movie would have been portrayed just as well. I would not recommend these at all.
A non stop heart throb from the beginning of Christmas Hope to the end of Christmas Shoes, jam packed with tears, cheers and Christmas Spirit! You won't stop crying tears of joy and share in the True meaning of Christmas, very glad it's a triple feature and you certainly get your bang for your buck.
The movies are good and entertaining for the whole family. good for a family movie night. Having said that I was a little disappointed that they strayed from the books so much especially the last one. The changes made did not make the movie any better. I will never understand why you get a book people love and change the story for the movie.
