Excellent Grief Resource
Nancy Guthrie provides an intimate look at her journey through grieving the loss of her baby daughter (and the impending loss of her preborn son). The book provides enough personal information for the reader to empathize and relate, but not so much as to overwhelm the reader's own experience. In grieving the sudden loss of my dear father, I found this to be so very helpful and hopeful. Nancy's viewpoints are not opinion-based but are founded on the Bible. This is a quick read - perfect for someone looking for grace and truth from another who has endured a painful loss.

Real encouragement for deep grief.
As someone who has been through deep grief over the death of an infant, I found this book very encouraging and reassuring due to her use of Scripture and keeping our focus on God and His care for us as we walk thru the valley of grief. God's comfort is real no matter what our pain.

Wonderful resource
I have seven children and lost one of them at the age of 17 months old. This book was the best resource that I have read so far on trials and holding onto God through them. This book is not just for someone who has lost a child, but would be helpful in many trials. It is well worth the money spent. Highly recommend it! I bought seven extra copies to give to people.

Years after reading this book, the hope I gained continues to strengthen me. I picked this up when my own father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Since then I've given it to others after the death of their loved ones. Nancy's words and thoughts speak to everyone, giving hope, finding gratitude even in loss.
