Kids love it
The kids loving having the pictures to color while we talk about the days history lesson, even my son who generally doesn't like coloring books.. The perfect companion to the history book.

Cute coloring book that goes with lesson plans.
This coloring book is great all on it's own, but it is meant to accompany History for Little Pilgrims text book. I highly recommend getting the teacher's manual to go with the text book and coloring book. It is easy to use and reasonably priced. I bought a coloring book for each of my children to go along with the lessons. This set is making history a breeze for us this year. I also love that it is history written with a biblical perspective.

Nice to have
I purchased this coloring book for my five year old daughter to use. I am doing the History for Little Pilgrims curriculum with two children, ages 5 and 6... this gives my kindergartener some coloring work to do after the lesson, while I might read or work a little more with my first grader. She loves it and enjoys coloring the pictures, usually wanting to make them match the ones in the book as closely as she can! Why four stars? Sometimes I wonder why they chose certain stories to illustrate (such as Abraham leading Isaac to be sacrificed). Overall, it's a nice compliment to the curriculum, especially for a child who likes to color.

I bought this coloring book for my kindergartener and a second copy for my son who is doing Preschool. The pictures are mostly the same as are in the book, larger and uncolored. My kids enjoy coloring the pages after we read the textbook sections out loud.
