I love this version. I am currently going through it my home schooled 9 year old. She is loving seeing the relationship that Jesus wants to have with her!! Highly recommend it and if you as a parent haven't read the adult version, it's a must!!

I was so happy to find that this book was still available. I had seen it several years ago. I knew it was a good rendition of one of my all time favorite stories. I wanted a copy for my grandson for his birthday. I was not disappointed! Thank you, Christianbook.com!

This book is a one-of-a-kind book to share with your child or grandchild. I have shared it one-on-one with five of our grandchildren and each time, we both benefited greatly! They looked forward to going to bed because we were reading the next chapter! Our 14 year old granddaughter even enjoyed it very much! The girls memorized the Bible verses at the end of the chapters. It is such a good book. Anyone would love it!

I have read this book to my grandchildren, one chapter a night at a time. They have each responded the same..... with a desire to learn more about God and please Him. It is so moving that in some of the chapters, I could hardly keep from crying. Our 13 year old grandkids liked it too! It is wonderful!

We just ordered our second copy of this book;our first one is falling apart from being read so much! This is wonderful version of the original and is hands down my daughter's favorite book.The illustrations are beautiful and plentiful.They abridged the original but certainly do not "talk down" to the reader;instead the book gives definitions and explanations for words the children may not know:) There are also devotions and prayers at the end of every chapter. I have seen a lot of fruit from this book.It has taught my daughter view things from a Godly perspective and helped her through hard times(including being scared at bedtime). It was wonderful reading together when she was younger and now at 10,she still keeps it by her bed. I highly recommend it!

i was given this book to teach to the children's class at my church.As I started to read it i began to really like the book. I enjoyed reading it and i was thrilled it was teaching my lessons as well as it would when i taught it to the children.It was such a joy to see such joy in the children as they learned about the story. Now i ma thinking about getting the devotional of Hinds feet on high places. An awesome book for anyone to read... for anyone!!
