This movie is an absolute classic, a wonderful testimony to God's love and care in the midst of the severest trials. Jeannette Clift was perfect as Corrie ten Boom. This edition also has another DVD containing several other movies Corrie made, including one hosted by Jeannette Clift after Corrie had her final stroke. Beautifully done, well worth viewing even if you have seen it before. This story never gets old.

The screenplay does not closely follow the text, however, the movie does keep intact the overall struggles and moral dilemmas experienced by Corrie and Betsie tenBoom. It could be enjoyed by those who have not read the non-fiction The Hiding place.

The acting in this movie was top notch, really made me believe these were the actual participants in the story. The story line of course is difficult at best for those of us who did not experience first hand the horrors of that time, but through this dvd and Corrie Ten Boom's writings, you find the triumphs and hope and a rededication to Our Lord for all of His many graces. Incredible story, incredible movie, incredible miracles!

This movie is very good example of how we as christians should be when persecuted for our belief in Jesus.Corrie and her family were obedient and fully trusted that God was in control of their situation.

Wow! I had read her book when I was younger and this is exactly how I remember it. I guess it helped that she was actually there throughout the shooting. It really set me on fire. Our God is the only God. He is almighty and He is with us WHEREVER we are.

My grandchildren, in the tween age have not been taught about the halocost, this DVD was an excellent tool to use. They had many questions.

I had the pleasure of meeting Corrie Ten Boom many years ago in Indianapolis. She truly was a woman of God. Her life story broke my heart. I wish I could live my life the way she & her family did during that terrible time in history. This shows how God still stays with us now matter where we are. She freely gave her life to God & he used her in many ways for HIS glory. Look for her at the end of the movie.
