I'm very sad I wasn't aware of how outstanding this man was. Fabulous man and biography.
Jenni5 Stars Out Of 5May 24, 2010JenniThis is my first "Heroes of History" book from the Benge's, and I intend to read many more! My church is sponsoring a summer reading contest for the kids and some of these books were on the list. I read this one in 2 sittings - I could not put it down! George Washington Carver's story is fascinating, he is so much more than the peanut man! The book reads like fiction, like a well-crafted story should read. You will not be disappointed! And the kids should love these, too.
