I ordered this framed-behind-glass print for myself because I loved the idea of the grizzled cowboy clutching his lost calf under his arm as he carries a lantern and rides his horse through the storm. (So symbolic of Jesus rescuing His lost lamb) The scripture on the print says, "I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." ISAIAH 46:4. I have many inspiring paintings, signs and plaques all over my house, but this particular one is special because I can picture myself as the "lost calf" and know that I will always be found.
The picture is intriguing and the Bible verse very comforting and not one of the better know. It something you can gaze into a long while and just feel God searching for you when you are lost, scooping you up, keeping you warm and safe, taking you back home with him.
I am very pleased with this. Very nice . It hangs where it is the first thing you see when entering the room. I first seen this at my Granddaughters house, I was wondering silently where she got it, and the next day or so I got a catalog and there it was. God knew and answered a silent prayer. God is SO GOOD!!!
