Each commentator begins with introductory notes concerning authorship, dating and the history of the text. Donald Burdick (James) is a graduate of North Baptist Theological Seminary. he is professor of New Testament at Denver Theological Seminary. Edwin Blum (I and II Peter, Jude) is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He is associate professor of historical theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. Glenn Barker is a graduate of Wheaton College and Harvard University. He is professor of Christian origins at Fuller Theological Seminary. Author Bio
The late Frank E. Gaebelein (New York University and Harvard University) for many years held the position of headmaster of the Stony Brook School. He was coeditor of Christianity Today and devoted himself to editing, writing, and speaking. Leon Morris (Ph.D. University of Cambridge) now in his retirement, was formerly Principal of Ridley College, Melbourne, and has served as Visiting Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Alan F. Johnson (PhD, Dallas Theological Seminary) is Emeritus Professor of New Testament and Christian Ethics and Emeritus Director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics (CACE) at Wheaton College. He is the author of commentaries on Paul's letter to the Romans, 1 Corinthians, and Revelation and co-author with Robert Webber of What Christians Believe. He and his wife Marie reside in Warrenville, Illinois and have four daughters and nineteen grandchildren.
