Heaven is for real, and you are going to like it!
Colton Burpo came back from his trip to heaven with a very important message: Jesus really, really loves children. In an effort to reach even more families with this eternally significant story, this runaway bestseller is now told from Coltonkid to kids! Children will receive the same comfort and assurance that so many adults have received from the trade book.
Beautifully illustrated under Colton's direction, he shares his experiences in first person and comments on things that will be important to kids. A letter to parents is included to guide them as they talk to their children about heaven. Scripture along with a Q&A section with answers from the Bible are also included in the book.
Todd Burpo is pastor of Crossroads Wesleyan and a volunteer fireman. He and his wife, Sonja, have four children: Colton is an active teenager; he has an older sister, Cassie; a younger brother, Colby; and a very special sister he met in heaven. Sonja Burpo is a busy mom and pastor's wife. A certified elementary teacher, Sonja is passionate about children's ministry and helping women work through the difficulty of miscarriage.

SnapplesCharlotte, NCAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5We love this bookApril 17, 2013SnapplesCharlotte, NCAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As a family, we enjoy this book tremendously. I have completed about 20 detailed church led or commercially published bible studies on a number of books of the bible and have not found this book to be confusing or inaccurate in anyway...there is scripture on the pages of this book that show accurate written and picture content. I first listened to the quite lengthy abridged audio story of the novel at the same time I was working on a commercially published study of the book of Revelation; I did not find any details to be inaccurate, but matched the bible well and complimented my study beautifully. This children's picture book and the audio story are our kids' favorites from their library. I recommend this book. I also learned my younger son's preschool class will receive a number of days learning about heaven and this book is used in the school for a segment of the teaching on heaven. It is so important that we be in the word of God to know Him and also test life against it to discern truth and direction. People need to be aware that their doubts mean something in the supernatural world...so quit doubting, read up, pray up, and believe and receive the grace, love, and provisions of an awesome God!
