Product Description

In Heaven Is Noe, Farley reveals that we don't have to wait until death to experience Heaven's goodness. Farley shows how we can live from Heaven even while we simultaneously live on Earth. The book includes intimate letters from Heaven that both inform and inspire.

Farley says we experience the wonders of Heaven through having our five spiritual senses awakened:

-We feel the freedom of God's grace.

-We hear the Spirit bearing witness.

-We see the finished work of Jesus.

-We smell the fragrant aroma of Christ.

-We taste the goodness of the Lord.

Heaven Is Now encourages us that there is not just hope in the world to come--there is hope available today, even in the midst of the hurt and sorrow that life on earth may bring.

Publisher's Description

What if heaven wasn't just meant to be experienced after we die? What if heaven can be enjoyed here on earth--right now?

Bestselling author Andrew Farley shows us how to take in the beauty of heaven no matter what our circumstances. With insight firmly rooted in the reality of pain and suffering, Andrew assures readers that heaven is not some pie-in-the-sky dream for the future--it is now. He shows us how to awaken our five spiritual senses in order to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel the grace of heaven, even in the midst of trouble here on earth. He says the heaven we can experience in this life lies within us, far beyond the reach of the world--but well within our grasp.

Publisher's Weekly

In his latest book, Farley (God Without Religion) explores ways to live life and love God through the five senses. Each sense is loosely attached to a spiritual idea; for example, the "hear" section is about knowing which voice to listen to in one's life and the "see" section is about being aware of what Jesus accomplished. As in his last two books, Farley effortlessly weaves scripture into his own thoughts. Yet unlike the last two books, the overall style of the text feels impersonal and detached. Recycled material (e.g., summaries of movies like Shawshank Redemption and Groundhog Day) and sermon speak (e.g., "Flip over to Matthew") feel superficial compared to the personal tales he's relayed in the past. And although each chapter contains a prayer, study questions are relegated to the back of the book, making for a less interactive read. Readers who can get past the standard sermon fodder and take the time to employ the back matter will learn how to refocus their lives on God. Agent: Andrea Heinecke, Alive Communications.
