A father's heart turned toward his son, and a son's heart turned toward his father. Another great story, wonderfully told by HeuMoore Productions! "Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done." —Psalm 78 The team of young homeschooled filmmakers who won the hearts of many with their delightfully playful Bubble Trouble! is back with a longer story, a heartfelt message, a beautiful portrayal of godly family culture, and more scene-stealing charm from Gator. When the Moores' vehicle breaks down outside the only B&B for miles, a father's vision for his son and grandson leads to an amazing discovery, and healing between a prodigal son—who thought he had waited too long to return to his father's house—and his son, as God works through one godly family to redeem a people unto Himself. It's a beautiful portrait of God's working in and through the dailyness of our lives to bless others, as well as a multi-generational vision for building a godly family culture. It's a story every father needs to see and hear. It's a story I need to see and hear over and over again! Definitely a family movie that encourages the family to be what God designed it to be - a unit of people working together. It is very inspiring and really, almost makes you cry (if it doesn't :). So this is definitely on my list of reccomendations, especially as you see it is put together by a young man that makes the message all the more meaningful. BUY IT and you will NOT be disappointed!! Located in: Kaufman, Texas Submitted: January 10, 2008 Tell us a little about yourself. My name is John Moore, I was seventeen when I directed this project, I'm a home schooler living my parents in Kaufman Texas. What was your motivation behind this project? To provide truly family friendly entertainment that teaches family members how to live in a Godly way. What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope fathers will turn their hearts to their sons! I have heard so many testimonies from families about how this touched their lives in a positive way! One man watched the film and then flew to see his son within the next few days to reconcile their relationship! This is such a great payment for our effort... How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Everybody involved grew closer to each other and to their Saviour in understanding his will for the family. Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I was inspired to this both by my own Father, and Doug Phillips of Vision Forum. His San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival was what first got us rolling in ideas for films like this. Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This film is the first youth film to take the Audience Choice award at the SAICFF; a tremendous honor, but this shows that the film does have a fan base. Check it out. I know you'll love it. Find Related Products |
