Normally I like Catherine Palmer's books. This one the writing was good but it was to sensual. Kits ex husband was supposed to be a Christian but showed complete lack of self control when he was around her.

The Heart ‘s Treasure by Catherine Palmer is an excellent, well written book. The way she has woven the story of Dr. Kitt Tucker and Michael Culhane bringing out a multitude of emotions – not only from them but from the reader as well. Having gone through the same childbirth experience as Kitt, I can empathize with her. Catherine has written about the whole experience very well. Black Dove – what an interesting person and the final twist will amaze you. It is hard to put this book down once you start reading it. You can see God’s handiwork all through the book. By-all-means, a recommended read for all ages.

I was unfamiliar with this author and discovering this book was a true treasure of it's own. Catherine creates an unusual yet authentic feeling tale about the resurfacing of unbidden feelings and memories surrounding her two main characters. She also weaves it with the unraveling of an intriguing mystery - starting with an unusual archaeological find.
