Your Heart's Desire: 14 Truths That Will Forever Change the Way You Love and Are Loved
I am doing a bible study class
We are all enjoying her study class, it is wonderful and I have a large group. Our church family and all chuch families need this and it is proving to be a popular group. We are thinking about keeping this running because we have had such a large number of women and young girls interested in this. Thank you Sheri Rose.

There is something for most every woman in this book: single, married, or divorced. The author bookends each chapter with insightful scriptures. Shepherd illustrates how our hearts desires are revealed through the words we speak and our actions. She also takes examples from her own life to expand on the desires represented in each chapter. Shepherd gives the reader practical ways that can be applied to the reader's life in a portion titled "Love Coaching."
One of the my favorite quotes from the book, "Our lives may not be the ones we have longed for, but the greatest testimony is not how we started but how we finish. It isn't getting what we wont; it's giving what we have. It isn't getting our way; it's doing God's will no matter what anyone else we love does. The legacy is not in our comfort; it is in our character." What a lovely thing to keep in mind to guide my own heart's desires.
Each chapter also ends with a love letter from God to each reader, a prayer, and questions intended for small group studies.
I would recommend this great book for personal reading (how I read it) or for a small group.

Great Resource for Women of all Ages
Your HeartâÂÂs Desire by Sheri Rose Shepherd is a life changing book. However, I would only rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It would have been nice to have a chapter on raising daughters in a way that will enable them to reach their heartâÂÂs desire. She included a chapter on raising boys but not on raising girls. This is a very interactive book that has many additional great features. I especially loved the video links at the end of the chapter which lead to Youtube videos (loved so much that I shared them here, on my facebook page and on twitter). Each chapter also has questions for group study. For those who are aware of Sheri RoseâÂÂs His Princess series but have never read the series she gives a taste of those books by providing a Love Letter from God at the end of each chapter.
I would recommend this book to women of all ages. While the book relates mostly to a husband and wife relationship I believe it has enough references to singles that even a young, single woman could enjoy the book as well. Very well-balanced for all women.

Putting the focus on God not our desires!
'The way we face and fight our battles in this life will become our legacy. Maybe we're not living the life we dreamed about, but the legacy isn't about getting what we want, it is about giving what we have'. Your Heart's Desire by Sheri Rose Shepherd. (p.195).
Startlingly true. I was not left unchanged when I turned the last page of this book. Actually more than just a book. This is not the kind that you read and let it dust on your shelf.
Single ladies with marriage in mind for the future, married women, anyone and everyone! This is highly recommended.
I guess the question is : What happens when there's no Happily Ever After? When we feel like our beloved - and sometimes even God- has turned their back on women who've worked to build strong, marital foundations?
This was the first book by Sheri that I've read and in it, she shared deep, heart-wrenching and personal marriage struggles of hers and other women.
Oh, my heart truly broke!
But make no mistakes! This book is all about our Most High God, who never leaves us no matter what!
How do we embrace that truth in our conduct no matter what seasons we might be going through in our romantic relationships?
I repeat. I was not left unchanged. This book inspired me so much, I'm afraid words are failing me right now. You'll just have to read it to believe it.
God bless you beautiful Sheri.
