Carlos Montgomery3 Stars Out Of 5February 4, 2010Carlos MontgomeryThis book is heavy on the psychological aspect of what's going on with sexual addiction. It also delves into some of the darkest corners of the subject matter. If you or your loved one is dealing with porn only then there are probably better books for you. But if it's full fledged sexual addiction along with severe acting out then this book may be helpful.

andy5 Stars Out Of 5May 5, 2008andyDr. Lasser's book is a must read for those that are serious about their desire to begin or boost their recovery from the grips of sexual addiction. I especially found the chapters on family roles and rules to help me identify triggers for my behaviors. Dr. Laaser points out that although these triggers are identified, we as adults are responsible for out actions and choices and ultimately the consequences. The entire book is written from a Biblical context and weaves scripture into appropriate psychology. I highly recommend this for addicts and their spouses...and friends who care to know and support your recovery.
