God can heal, this is a truth clearly evident from scripture. We can agree, with absolute certainty, that God still possesses the power to do the miraculous.
In The Healing Promise Richard Mayhue Provides straight answers without compromising the Bible or God's miraculous power.
The Healing Promise includes -
A special interview with Joni Eareckson Tada where she talks about coping with the attitudes towards healing she encounters every day
A chapter by André Kole, the man behind many of David Copperfield's illusions, on techniques used in healing meetings.
A special interview with John and Patricia MacArthur about their experiences when Patricia was badly injured in a car accident
This extraordinary book is both a rigorous evaluation of healing ministries... and an excellent source of biblical teaching on healing. Unlike many evangelical sceptics, the author believes in healing and includes an amazing testimony from his own ministry. And unlike many pentecostals and charismatics, he has a clear-minded approach and concern for evidence that can only be of benefit to the Kingdom of God. ...I recommend it to pastors and think it deserves a place on any collection of books on the subject.

Roy Ingle5 Stars Out Of 5February 11, 2004Roy IngleDr. Mayhue provides biblical answers to a very hard question concerning healing. The popular charismatic teachers and faith healers have created a theology that promises healing but puts blame on the believer when healing does not come. Dr. Mayhue clears away the false notions of faith healers and provides a sound look at healing in the Bible. His answer: God heals through both providence and at times, miracles. However, ultimately sickness will not be destroyed until Jesus returns.
