ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

"I have found no other process that is as elegantly simple. effortlessly learnable, inherently portable, profoundly effective, and fundamentally timeless. The highest commendation I can give is that I use it for myself, my family and my patients." --Merill Ken Galera, MD, Medical Director, the Glaera Center and former Lead Physcian of Dr. Mercola's Natural Health Center
"You almost have to have a process like The Healing Code to change the wrong beliefs that are keeping you from the life and health you want." --Bruce Lipton, PhD, former cell Biology researcher at Stanfrod and author of the bestselling, Biology of Belief

Wanda CostinakOntarioAge: 35-44Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5Part One...February 22, 2011Wanda CostinakOntarioAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3I have always been a skeptic. I do not accept much on blind faith, need to be shown proof and test things for myself before I become a "believer." This is why there will be two parts to my review for The Healing Code: 6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Your Health, Success, or Relationship Issue by Alexander Loyd with Ben Johnson. The title alone sounds too good to be true and after reading the book, I am not sure that this is not the case. However, I am willing to give the methods set forth in the book an honest attempt and need time evaluate and report the results.
Dr. Loyd describes the science behind this healing method as relying upon quantum physics. He sets forth that all living organisms send out energy and The Healing Code can heal energy frequency problems in the body, thereby healing most, if not all physical and emotional problems. I was disappointed that information referenced in different landmark medical studies were quoted from newspaper and magazine articles, not the studies themselves. To have a serious discussion to back up the science of this method deserved a more serious approach. There were many testimonials from people who have tried The Healing Code with much success and the results are interesting.
The authors clearly state their faith in Christ and their desire to be faithful to their Christian beliefs. This is what keeps me from dismissing the book altogether. They base The Healing Code on a reliance upon prayer and the healing work of God. They encourage the reader to a life of faith in Christ and to use prayer as the basis for healing. "What's most important is your relationship with God, however you work that out. So we urge you to make prayer your primary focus, using The Healing Code as part of the process" (page 218). The authors also encourage a balanced lifestyle and a conscious effort to resolve conflict and change negative thinking habits.
There is much I have taken to heart and the book has pointed out several issues that I have left to fester over the years. It will be an interesting journey over the next few weeks and I am hopeful that, although I am skeptical, I can be turned into a believer.
I give this book 3 stars out of 5.
I received this book free from Hachette Book Group. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
