Catherine P.5 Stars Out Of 5August 5, 2009Catherine P.This has been one of the most impactful books I have ever read. It revealed things and shined a different light on the difficulties that I have faced. It was a type of medication for even some of the struggles I've had since childhood. It gave me a new view of the things that have happened in my life thus helping me turn sour lemons to sweet lemonade. I would encourage anyone with a past to read it.
J Martin5 Stars Out Of 5November 8, 2007J MartinThis book has generated new hope and helped me to develop a more intimate relationship with Jesus. Jesus came to set the captives free - now I have experienced this for myself. This is a must read for any Christian, or Non-Christian, if you are dealing with hopelessness and despair. God's love and total acceptance will help you to lift up your head and know that you are truly loved. You do have a future and He will give you a new vision for your life - a life and a purpose that you were originally created to live - abundant life.
D Horner5 Stars Out Of 5December 5, 2004D HornerBishop David G. Evans' book begins where most books end. Many authors have insights into how we can modify our behaviors or how we can manage our emotions, but Healed Without Scars explores the WHY behind our behaviors and emotions. Too often I have found myself treating symptoms only to find myself always having a new set of defeating circumstances to deal with in my life. Healed Without Scars goes beyond the surface aspects of life and helps the reader explore the depths of the human soul, all to bring about freedom. Bishop Evans offers hope on every page, while taking the journey with the reader towards personal wholeness. There is no way to read this book and not have the tools needed to be healed and free. Bishop Evans balances his personal experiences with his brilliant handle on the Word of God and delivers the Truth on a level that Christian and Non-Christian alike can understand. He explores topics such as the child-father relationship, the importance of faith and praise during the hard times, and the power of forgiveness. Whether you have had issues with abuse, betrayal, addiction, or just everyday pain from life, this book will give you the answers to all of your questions, AND will position you for your healing. I am eternally grateful for this book..and to know that I can truly be healed without scars.

Tell us a little about yourself. I pastor a church of 21,000 members in New Jersey. This is my first formally published work. We have a worldwide ministy that emphasizes wholeness in Christ. I speak to audiences worlwide through television and speaking/teaching and preaching appointments.
What was your motivation behind this project? To reveal Christ and the Bible as the tool of recovery from the pain of the past.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Healed Without Scars was written specifically to reach the injured places in all of us while leading the reader step by step away from the pain of the past into a life of wholeness. It is a balnced treatment appealing to both Christian and non-Christians. It helps those who are Christians find the wholeness promised by God while presenting God to non-Christians in a way they may not have considered.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The book of Daniel describes three men in a furnace. The furnace is an example of a situation designed to destroy them. At best, they should be scarred. However, the Bible says they emerge from the experience without anything about their person changed, not a hair singed on their heads or the smell of smoke upon them. They come through a potentially devastating experience without any negative effect, minds intact and no aroma of victimization.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: The sales and reviews have been very encouraging. People from around the world have purchased and written concerning their experince and deliverance connected with the book. Since July, we have been to press four times.
