I felt it was very lame for a Christian movie. It was never clear why using a skateboard with a picture of Jesus on it would be helpful. Of course that wasn't the message . He wanted the guy to turn his life over to Jesus and He would guide him. I bought the movie because my son-in-law is trying to get my two grandchildren into skate boarding. I find it seems to have a seamy side of life and wanted my son-in-law to see the movie; hoping it would get him to think twice about encouraging them to like skateboarding. He was a skateboarder before he became saved and I guess he has good memories of that life. The acting was average as was the story line. I would never have bought it since I had seen it on TV and it wasn't what I would want for my movie collection. But I bought it for my son-in-law.
Wasn't sure about this when I started the movie, but after watching it I have recommended it to several people. Not being a skater I was not impressed at first, I was wrong. Very well done & a great message.
