My 16 yr old daughter is a Christian, but needed a change in attitude. She said the the was very slow in the beggining, then exploded! She said it is a life changing book that every teenager should be required to read.

Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris call teenagers around the world to rebel against low expectations. They encourage teenagers to do hard things like standing up for the right things, studying hard, fighting sin, and choosing to set higher expectations than society sets for us. Society expects teenagers to goof of, be immature, drink, use drugs, and doesn't expect anything positive about teenagers. It comes as a surprise to people in general when teenagers act maturely, and don't do any of the above. In Do Hard Things Alex and Brett encourage teenagers to not see the teenage years as one big party, but as a time to get ready to be adults.

I really enjoyed this book and I think everybody should read it. I got this book free from Multnomah Publishing.
